For a while I hadn’t setup my printer on Ubuntu. I was a little afraid that it would take me hours on end to force Ubuntu to accept my printer. Man…I was so wrong . It took me a whole 5 minutes and that includes searching the internet for the proper driver that I should use. My printer is a Hp Deskjet D2345 and according to linuxprinting.org the acceptable driver that works perfectly with the printer is Hp Deskjet D2300 footmatic/hpijs. You will need to start up CUPS which can be found by going to System>Admininstration>Printing. When the window pops up double click on New Printer. And from here you just click on the driver that is recommended to install. For me the driver was right there D2300 hpijs. Works perfectly

Ah, here we go back to school.  Hopefully this semester I will find a major to work toward.  I have a hard time working hard if I don’t have an apparent goal in front of me.  At any rate, good luck fellow students!
